This remote-field role in Jackson, TN requires travel to assigned zip codes, strong knowledge of property policies, and the ability to negotiate settlements up to $500,000.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in insurance, property claims.
• Strong knowledge of property policies, coverage and claim handling.
• Residential and commercial building construction knowledge.
• Familiarity with local regulations in territory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for clients, agents, and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations with a customer-focused mindset.
• Assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in claims management software and related tools.
• Physical agility for inspections (lifting, climbing, crawls) and potential rope/harness training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and others to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with emotionally charged parties during inspections or claim resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.

• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits per policy and guidelines.
