Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, a Munich Re company, is seeking a Property Field Adjuster in Lansing, Michigan to own claims end-to-end and perform on-site inspections. You will estimate damages using Xactimate/Cotality and guide policyholders through the process with clear communication.

Join our team to collaborate with agents and internal groups, participate in CAT deployments as needed, and help deliver strong outcomes while supporting customers in their time of need.

Qualifications

• Experience handling property claims or related field/industry.
• Experience with estimating platforms (Xactimate, Cotality, Symbility).
• Ability to perform on-site inspections and assess damage.

Responsibilities

• Own property claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and determine coverage.
• Develop estimates using industry tools and communicate with policyholders.
• Partner with agents and internal teams to deliver outcomes.
• Participate in CAT duty as needed (up to 4 weeks).
• Prepare reports and written communications.
