Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in property and casualty claims.
• Minimum 3 years handling multi-line property and casualty claims with focus on property.
• Field claims handling experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Xactimate software preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and analyze data.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate loss amounts.
• Handle multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory.
• Familiarize with insurance coverage by studying policies and forms.
• Work toward settlement and attend arbitrations or trials as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim payments.
• Conduct investigations by phone, mail, and on-site.
