Job summary

The City of Peoria is seeking a Property and Evidence Technician to maintain the police department’s evidence and property storage areas. You will secure storage, process items received, and scrutinize property integrity at 600 SW Adams Street, Peoria, IL.

You will track property, oversee evidence preparation, maintain records, and perform video conversions, while coordinating with various law enforcement agencies. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid State Driver's License and LEADS certification.
• Knowledge of property management and chain of custody practices.
