Job summary

American Avenue Property Management is seeking a skilled Residential Handyperson (Property Engineer) to service single-family rental homes across our markets. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance work with autonomy, driving your own vehicle and using provided tools where needed.

Expect 40-hour weeks with guaranteed pay, mileage reimbursement, and a quarterly bonus. Health and dental coverage, tool reimbursement, and PTO start benefits as part of the deal.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multi-trade maintenance (apartment, SFR, or trades background).
• Able to handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances at least 3 of them.
• Own truck or van and hand tools; tools reimbursed and mileage paid.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-trade maintenance across single-family rental homes.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Handle turns and make-readies between residents with quality workmanship.
• Document work in the company app and maintain safety standards.
