Job summary

The Cache County Assessor's Office is seeking an Assessment Data Entry Specialist in Logan, UT. This full-time, onsite role supports accurate property records for assessment and public service, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

The position offers a starting wage of $20.63 per hour and comprehensive benefits starting on day one. Responsibilities include entering and validating sales and permit-related information, updating records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Data entry/records experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and databases; familiarity with CAMA/GIS/permitting/sketch tools preferred.
Ability to follow written procedures, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

Entering and validating sales and permit-related information for property records.
Updating records and sketches using spreadsheets and assessment-related software.
Supporting record audits, cleanup projects, and report preparation.
Assisting with field data collection and documentation for appraiser review.
Providing professional, confidential assistance to the public in accordance with policy and laws.
