Zaddy Solutions in Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Francisco seeks a Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice. You will handle sophisticated property insurance matters, analyze policies, draft opinions, and support dispute resolution in a fast-paced team setting.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar in good standing, and about 3 years’ insurance coverage experience, including litigation, depositions, and motions.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3 years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions, and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Prepare correspondence and communications for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review and analyze documents in connection with coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Advocate for clients in dispute resolution proceedings and support case strategy through all phases of litigation.

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Property Coverage Attorney to join its growing Insurance Coverage practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated property insurance matters for high-profile clients, handling complex coverage analysis, litigation, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and brings exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3 years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters (experienced litigators interested in insurance coverage considered)
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting, with demonstrated analytical rigor
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
• Prior litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and mediations, preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary:

• Associate: $160,000 -- $190,000

• Senior Associate: $185,000 -- $225,000

• Senior Counsel: $220,000 -- $260,000

Compensation is commensurate with experience, skill set, and level of hire.
