Keystone Distinction Group seeks a Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Los Angeles / Irvine / San Francisco. You will handle sophisticated property insurance matters, analyze policies, draft opinions, and support disputes with research and writing excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of substantive insurance coverage experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record in litigation-related tasks, including depositions and mediation.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting.
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Prior litigation experience including depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Property Coverage Attorney to join its growing Insurance Coverage practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated property insurance matters for high-profile clients, handling complex coverage analysis, litigation, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and brings exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters (experienced litigators interested in insurance coverage considered)
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting, with demonstrated analytical rigor
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters with professionalism and discretion

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary:
  • Associate: $160,000 – $190,000
  • Senior Associate: $185,000 – $225,000
  • Senior Counsel: $220,000 – $260,000 Compensation is commensurate with experience, skill set, and level of hire.
