Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a Property Coverage Attorney for its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Los Angeles/Irvine/San Francisco. The role focuses on sophisticated property insurance matters, coverage analysis, and dispute resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and 3+ years of insurance coverage experience, with strong research, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Review and analyze documents in coverage disputes and litigation
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings and mediations
• Advise clients in dispute resolution and support case strategy through litigation

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Property Coverage Attorney to join its growing Insurance Coverage practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated property insurance matters for high-profile clients, handling complex coverage analysis, litigation, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and brings exceptional research, writing, and analytical capabilities to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters (experienced litigators interested in insurance coverage considered)
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting, with demonstrated analytical rigor
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters with professionalism and discretion
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
• Prior litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and mediations, preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence and communications for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel
• Review and analyze documents in connection with coverage disputes and litigation
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations
• Advocate for clients in dispute resolution proceedings and support case strategy through all phases of litigation

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary:
  • Associate: $160,000 – $190,000
  • Senior Associate: $185,000 – $225,000
  • Senior Counsel: $220,000 – $260,000
    Compensation is commensurate with experience, skill set, and level of hire.
