Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department is accepting applications for at least one (1) Permanent Full-Time Property Controller I (PCI). The vacancy exists in the Medical Services Department and is under the direct supervision of the Supervisor I. Scheduled work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday with weekends off but are subject to change based on operational needs. A Training and Development opportunity may also be considered.
The Property Controller I receives, stores, tracks, and maintains inventory records for medical supplies and equipment used throughout the hospital. The position coordinates supply requests and procurement activities, monitors stock levels to help ensure supplies are available for patient care, and tracks equipment maintenance. These duties are performed in accordance with departmental policies, infection control standards, safety, and security requirements, and applicable regulations.

Patton is a forensic psychiatric hospital and was established in 1890 and opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.
