California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking a Materials & Stores Supervisor I (Correctional Facility) at Centinela State Prison in Imperial County, CA. The role involves supervising canteen warehousing operations and overseeing incarcerated individuals in the canteen area, with a focus on receiving large volumes of supplies and maintaining complex storage systems.
The position is a 12-month limited term, in-office (on-site) with potential extension up to 24 months
The Materials & Stores Supervisor I will consult on general policies and procedures concerning the operations of the Prison Canteens with the Materials & Stores Supervisor II (Canteen). He/she will be responsible for supervising the receipt of large volumes of supplies requiring complex storage. He/she will supervise incarcerated people in the area of the Prison Canteen.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If you are meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, you must include your unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification. Official transcripts may be required upon appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Candidates who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
