Job summary

Enel is seeking a Property Claims Specialist to oversee the day-to-day administration of property loss and business interruption claims within its Claims Management Program. You will coordinate with Operations & Maintenance, consultants, and insurance adjusters to ensure timely submissions and accurate reporting.

The role also involves financial tracking, documentation preparation, and providing feedback required to close open claims.

Qualifications

Job description

The Property Claims Specialist is responsible for managing Enel's Property Claims Management Program. This role oversees the day-to-day administration of property loss and business interruption claims, including incident communication, claims submission, coordination with Operations & Maintenance teams, claims consultants, and insurance adjusters. The position also manages financial tracking, accounting reporting, recovery status reporting, and provides all necessary documentation and feedback required to close open claims.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing property damage and business interruption claims from initiation through closure
• Coordinating with Operations & Maintenance teams regarding loss incidents
• Preparing and submitting insurance claims documentation
• Working with claims consultants, adjusters, and internal stakeholders
• Tracking claim-related financials and recovery efforts
• Reporting claim status and recovery progress to leadership
• Supporting accounting and insurance reporting requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field
• Finance degree from a four-year accredited institution required

Experience

• 2-5 years of claims management experience
• Experience managing property loss and/or business interruption claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the energy, utilities, or renewable energy industry
• Background in insurance, risk management, property claims, or recovery programs

• Experience supporting large operational or infrastructure-related claims programs
