Qualifications

• Experience as Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist in insurance, specifically property claims.
• Strong knowledge of property policies, coverage and claim handling practices.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial building construction.
• Familiarity with local regulations and compliance in territory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, agents and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
• Physical agility: lift, climb ladders, inspect roofs, crawl spaces; may require Rope & Harness Safety Training.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other parties to gather information and resolve claims.
• Interact with emotionally charged individuals professionally and empathetically.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support claims.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims up to $500,000.
• Evaluate coverage and terms to determine claim validity and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized limits and company guidelines.
