Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have earned the IIA-AIC designation and a valid state adjuster license.
• Eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Examines claim forms to determine coverage.
• Administers and reconciles complex property claims.
• Interviews or corresponds with claimants and witnesses.
• Inspects property damage and determines liability and investigation methods.
• Prepares loss estimates and negotiates settlements.
• Revises reserves and assists with litigation when needed.
• Interacts with excess carriers on coverages and reimbursements.
