Prime Inc. seeks an experienced claims adjuster for its on-site Doctor’s Office & Chiropractor environment in Springfield. The role focuses on property and casualty investigations, evaluating liability, and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of claims handling experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred.
• Ability to sit, multitask, and manage rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims to determine validity and extent of company liability.
• Review accident reports and communicate with affected parties to determine liability.
• Maintain accurate reserves based on the claim.
• Negotiate settlements and process payments for property damage and/or third-party injury claims.
• Coordinate record retention for pending litigation.
