Job summary

Prime Inc. in Springfield, MO is seeking an experienced accident claims adjuster to join our team.

The role involves investigating third party property damage and bodily injury claims, assessing liability, and coordinating reserves and settlements with an emphasis on fair outcomes. The ideal candidate has a background in Property and Casualty investigation, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred; 1–3 years claims experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of property and casualty investigation is preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Investigating claims to ascertain validity of claims and extent of company liability.
• Reviews accident reports and communicates with affected parties to determine liability.
• Maintain accurate and timely reserves based on the claim.
• Negotiate and process claims for property damage and/or third party injury claims which Prime is liable.
• Negotiate settlements to effectuate fair and equitable settlements.
• Coordinate record retention for preservation of pending litigation.
