The Property Claims Adjuster/Claim Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving first-party residential and commercial property claims. This role involves conducting thorough analyses and investigations, promptly following up with insureds, virtually evaluating damages and preparing estimates, reviewing policy contracts, and maintaining accurate claim files. The position also requires establishing reserves, identifying recovery opportunities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory fair claims practices, including the identification of potential fraudulent claims.
If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain the applicable resident or designated home state adjuster's license and possibly additional state licensure.
