Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in the United States is seeking an Actuarial Analyst within the Risk and Analytics Corporate Practice. The role focuses on reserving, pricing analysis, and capital management for large US clients.

Duties include developing actuarial models, reconciling data, and preparing client communications and reports using SAS, R, SQL, VBA, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. You will sit for actuarial exams while advancing in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Passed one or more actuarial exams
  • Strong technical skills and a client service orientation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, along with strong computer literacy and an interest in learning new tools and applications
  • Experience managing data and automating complex data manipulation tasks using SAS, R, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment
  • Predictive modeling experience
  • Experience with Emblem and Radar software
  • Experience working with large datasets ("big data")
  • Programming experience in scripting and object-oriented languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Accepting applications from candidates graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's degree between May 2026 and August 2027
  • If visa sponsorship is not available for this role: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
