Job summary

Venterra is seeking a Porter for The Retreat at Lakeland in Florida. The role supports maintenance operations, maintains the property’s cleanliness and curb appeal, and assists with apartment turnover.

The Porter will handle trash removal and light maintenance tasks, ensuring a welcoming environment that contributes to resident satisfaction. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the position requires physical work outdoors in various weather conditions and a proactive approach to upholding

Qualifications

• Prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proactive approach to maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including grounds, pools, parking lots, and common areas.
• Ensure amenities are clean, functional, and safe at all times.
• Assist in unit turnover by removing items left by residents.
• Deliver notices, manage trash removal, and address debris or hazards promptly.
• Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support the team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction.
