Job summary

Neverdun Blues Ranch in Ohio is seeking a hands-on ranch caretaker to manage 150 acres, including fencing, tree work, brush hogging, and animal care for ponies, cattle, and goats. You will operate and maintain tractors, a bobcat, and an excavator, and support haying and winter preparations.

The role requires comfort working outdoors, coordinating with the owner and staff, and some weekend duties based on events. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy the outdoors and feeding/caring for animals.
• Experience operating and maintaining farm equipment (tractors, bobcat, excavator).
• Ability to work with owner and staff and prepare hay/winter supplies.
• Weekend work may be required depending on events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and care for 150 acres: fencing, tree cutting, brush hogging, and general upkeep.
• Care for Ponies, Scottish Highlander cattle, and goats.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on tractors and other equipment.

Looking for a individual to work a existing ranch taking care of the general duties that comes with 150 acres of ranch land. Fencing, tree cutting, brush hogging, and upkeep which contains Ponies, Scottish Highlander Cattle, and Goats.

Must enjoy the outdoors, and feeding and caring for the animals. We have several tractors, a bobcat, excavator, and various equipment that needs maintenanced periodically. Being able to work with the owner and other staff, cut hay and get thing together for winter.

Position is fultime winter and summer, M-F 7- 4pm some weekend required base on scheduled events.
