Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is hiring a Property Technician to perform a range of housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks for vacation properties. The role supports Guest Services and Housekeeping with a rotating weekend schedule and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities include preparing units, conducting routine maintenance, and assisting with cleaning, linen deliveries, and unit readiness for guest arrivals. The candidate should show teamwork, strong communication, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Six months of housekeeping or basic maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic maintenance skills (e.g., painting, changing lights, unclogging toilets).
• Exhibits teamwork and a customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental units on guest arrival and ensure proper operation of unit systems.
• Perform hot tub and outdoor unit maintenance and setup.
• Assist housekeeping with linen and supply delivery, and support maintenance upgrades.
• Tackle guest requests and troubleshoot TV/Internet issues in managed units.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness across properties and report issues.
