Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking an Auditor-Appraiser I to perform audit-appraisals of financial records and related property values. Under supervision, you will analyze ledgers and statements, review business property statements, inspect property and reconcile differences with accounting records.

The position requires one year of professional accounting or auditing experience and may lead to promotion to Auditor-Appraiser II with an established pay range.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time professional accounting or auditing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with accounting/auditing coursework.
• CA CPA license or four years’ relevant experience in option B.
• Permanent appraiser certificate for property tax with audits for option C.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audit-appraisals of financial records and statements.
• Review annual Business Property Statements to determine personal property values.
• Inspect business personal property and reconcile with accounting records.
