Fortis Property Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Birmingham to support the Community Manager in leasing, resident relations, and financial operations. The role collaborates with leasing agents, maintenance teams, and the property leadership to achieve occupancy goals and financial targets.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in multi-family property management, with strong marketing, accounting, and software skills (Yardi/RealPage/MRI/AppFolio).

Formación

• Two or four year college degree preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years multi-family property management.
• Strong marketing and sales background.
• Accounting system functions.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Community Manager to lease the property and promote resident care and service.
• Work with leasing agents, maintenance staff and supervisors to meet community goals.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and manage rents and expenses within budget guidelines.
• Process invoices and payroll; perform on-site accounting functions.
• Supervise on-site associates in the Community Manager's absence.
• Adhere to Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures; maintain knowledge of the computer system.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, Life/Safety, ADA, OSHA, EPA policies.
