Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with 1+ year related experience
• Complete NC Fundamentals of Listing and Assessing course
• IAAO 101 Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal course completion
• Valid NC Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Appraise real property including new construction, rural land, commercial, industrial, and tax-exempt properties
• Conduct field inspections and collect data for appraisal
• Review sales and perform statistical analysis for fair value
• Assist with county-wide revaluation and appeals processes
• Interact with taxpayers and professionals to resolve concerns
• Attend seminars to stay current on appraisal trends
