Job summary

HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division seeks a property administrator to manage government and contractor property. You will maintain accountability records, supervise transfers, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR guidelines in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with experience or advanced degrees, and familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office tools. This is a full-time on-site position in Pascagoula, MS with no telework eligibility.

• Masters degree and 1 year of experience.
• PhD and 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Administers property control program activities to ensure accountability.
• Maintains property accountability records and disposes surplus equipment.
• Contacts potential users and negotiates transfers.
• Conducts property audits; provides guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability.
• Develops policy and prepares periodic reports relative to taxes, rentals and leasing, insurance, etc.
