Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support accounting operations for a portfolio of properties. You will maintain financial records, prepare reconciliations, and assist with month-end close and reporting to ensure accuracy.

The role involves preparing journal entries, analyzing statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgets and forecasts while working with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain general ledger activity and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor property-level expenses, accruals, and prepaid accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts.
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
