Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Our client, a world-class real estate firm, is seeking a Manager of Property Accounting to join their New York City team. This hybrid role requires four days in the office and offers an excellent opportunity to lead property accounting operations while growing professionally within a prestigious and established company. Oversee monthly reconciliations and financial reporting. The position comes with great perks, including a competitive salary!

Job Function

• Lead preparation and analysis of financial statements for the residential property portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage recording, reimbursement, and intercompany/payroll entries for all managed properties.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through regular communication.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and best practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of property accountants, promoting collaboration and professional growth.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 8 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations relevant to property accounting, including GAAP and tax laws.
