Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate in Laguna Beach, CA. You will support day-to-day accounting for a real estate portfolio, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

This is an early‑career role with training and room to grow into Senior Property Accountant as you gain experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and long-term professional growth, with exposure to construction accounting and lender draw processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with AP/AR and general ledger for multiple properties.
• Proficient with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Ability to manage cash, lender draws, and construction accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and code to correct property/entity.
• Manage tenant ledgers and AR reporting.
• Assist with property-level accounting and intercompany activity.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and bank/credit card statements.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting.
