John-M.-Corcoran- is seeking a Property Accountant to manage the financial aspects of a diverse property portfolio in Massachusetts. The role emphasizes accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and timely reporting to lenders and investors.

You will collaborate with property management, support budget preparation, and assist audit activities. A detail-oriented mindset and 2+ years of residential property accounting, plus experience with Yardi, are key to success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting or business administration (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of accounting and residential property experience.
• Yardi software experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Record rent, losses/gains, and vacancies monthly.
• Prepare reconciliations and update schedules.
• Process management fees and mortgage/real estate tax payments.
• Create payables and journal entries per property.
• Prepare monthly ledger reviews and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits and portfolio reporting to lenders/investors.
