Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is hiring a Property Accountant in Anaheim, CA to provide full-scale accounting support for the property management team. You will prepare financial statements, manage month-end close, budgeting, and tenant invoicing while ensuring internal controls and GAAP compliance.

The role requires a BA/BS in Accounting or related field and 3–5 years CRE/property accounting experience, with strong Excel abilities and proficiency in Yardi.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships across teams.
• GAAP and real estate accounting principles knowledge.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management/accounting systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
• Manage cash and banking activities and reconciliations.
• Review invoices, accounts payable, and ensure proper controls.
• Administer accounts receivable, tenant billing, and reconciliations.
• Review leases for billing accuracy and CAM/tax/insurance reconciliations.
