Job summary

CFS is seeking a Property Accountant to join our accounting team in a high-visibility, collaborative environment. The role offers significant growth potential within a family-owned company with strong tenure and culture.

You will work on financial statements for assigned properties, manage reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting, while collaborating with property managers and stakeholders to drive improvements. A hybrid model is available after six months of proven performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Property management accounting experience required for one opening.
• Audit experience or audit exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for assigned properties.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
• Assist with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Process journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Partner with property managers and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
