Job summary

Gosnaphop is seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join the West Houston accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of property accounting and full-cycle accounting experience, with strong proficiency in Yardi and/or MRI.

This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and handling accounting activities for assigned properties.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Property Accounting experience required.
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience required.
• Yardi and/or MRI experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting for assigned properties.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and property-level financial reports.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries and recurring entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities related to assigned properties.
• Review and reconcile property income and expenses.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare variance analyses and investigate discrepancies.
• Review property budgets and compare actual results to budget.
• Assist with CAM reconciliations and tenant-related accounting.
• Work with property management teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support audits and provide requested financial documentation.
