Jobot is seeking a Staff Accountant to oversee property accounting activities, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting. The role requires 2+ years of property accounting experience and a strong background in GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years property accounting experience with CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and deadline focus.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; proactive problem solver.
• Knowledge of GAAP; CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of property accounting, including CAM reconciliations, Yardi, and fund accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with property management teams for timely reporting of property-level data.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide support during external audits and tax preparation.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
