This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in residential and commercial property accounting, CAM reconciliations, lease abstracts, payment posting, and journal entries.

Qualifications

• Prepare CAM reconciliations and support property accounting close activities.
• Post payments, process account adjustments, and maintain accurate account records.
• Review lease abstracts and apply lease terms to accounting transactions.
• Enter journal entries and support financial reporting accuracy.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant property accounting experience required.
• Experience with lease abstracts required.
• Residential and commercial property accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.
• Professional communication and collaboration with property management teams.
• Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete CAM reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Post payments, process account adjustments, and maintain accurate tenant and property accounting records.
• Input journal entries and support month-end accounting activities.
• Review and interpret lease abstracts to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
• Support accounting functions for residential and commercial property portfolios.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams to research discrepancies and resolve account issues.
