The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our extensive property portfolio. The role requires a deep understanding of property accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. A strong grasp of Yardi, Lease, and Year End Close or equivalent is a must.

Responsibilities

• Managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Utilizing Yardi software for property management accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conducting lease administration and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
• Performing year‑end close procedures and preparing financial statements.
• Analyzing financial data and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in property accounting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a related role.
