Job summary

LHH is hiring a Senior Property Accountant in Richmond, VA to join a growing real estate team. You will prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties, ensuring accurate reporting and GAAP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred) and 5+ years of accounting experience, with strong Excel skills. Real estate accounting experience is required; MRI or Yardi experience is a plus.

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for a portfolio of commercial and multifamily properties


• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow analysis


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, owner distributions, audits, and year-end reporting


• Support property onboarding activities and collaborate closely with property management teams

What We’re Looking For:
