Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year

Extensive knowledge of general ledger management, financial statements, accounts payable, and receivable is required. This position is open due to a promotion.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all property accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Utilize Yardi software for property management accounting and reporting.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports.
- Collaborate with other finance team members to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Assist with annual audits and provide necessary information to external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Extensive experience with accounts payable and receivable.
- Proficiency in Yardi software is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
