Job summary

Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC) in Hollister, CA seeks a Chemical Operations Technician to safely handle energetic materials and support milling operations. Responsibilities include logging, inventory, waste handling, and process documentation while following strict safety SOPs and respirator protocols.

The role supports propellant manufacturing and requires the ability to lift 30 lbs, wear PPE, and work 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Read and understand written instructions.
• Interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Complete documentation with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process explosive powders and propellants safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate material movement documentation, logs, and inventory records.
• Assist in updating process documentation and participate in daily management meetings.
• Perform cleaning of facility, equipment, vehicles, tooling and containers with water/solvents.
• Complete travelers and process paperwork buy-offs; support other operations as needed.
