Job summary

Broco Energy is seeking experienced Propane Technicians in Haverhill, MA to install, maintain, and repair propane systems in homes and businesses. You will perform leak tests, safety inspections, and responsive service calls, while documenting work and educating customers on propane safety.

Applicants should hold MA & NH LP installer licenses, 5+ years of LP experience, and a valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience servicing/installing LP tanks and equipment
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• CETP certification preferred
• EPA certification
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and work outdoors
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check required

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair propane systems per NFPA and local codes
• Deliver, set, and connect propane tanks and cylinders
• Perform leak tests and inspections for safe operation
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly
• Maintain service records and customer documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on propane safety
• Keep service van and shop stocked and organized

Currently, our propane department is seeking experienced Propane Technicians to join our growing team as we continue to deliver the high level of satisfaction and service our customers expect and deserve!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain, and repair propane tanks and propane systems in accordance with NFPA 58, NFPA 54 and all State and Local Codes
• Deliver, set, and connect propane tanks and cylinders according to company and safety guidelines.
• Perform leak tests, pressure checks, and system inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and customer documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on safe propane usage
• Keeping service van and shop stocked, orderly and inventory current

REQUIREMENTS

• Propane and Gas License (LP Installer) MA & NH
• 5+ years’ experience servicing and/or installing residential, commercial LP tanks and equipment (Preferred)
• Valid (Class A or B) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• CETP certification (highly preferred)
• EPA certification
• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills
• Availability to work weekends when needed
• Must have the ability to lift 60 pounds and work outside in varying weather/driving conditions
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check

Pay: $30 - $45hr

Pay based on experience. Schedule: Monday to Friday and After-Hours on call, Weekend availability
