Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring a Transport Driver at a location near you. You will operate a tanker truck (11,400 gallon capacity), perform multiple pick-ups and deliveries daily, and ensure safe loading/unloading procedures while adhering to company safety standards.

The role requires 3 years of tractor/trailer experience and tanker experience, plus Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and TWIC eligibility. Benefits include medical coverage, 401(k) with match, paid holidays, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3 Years Tractor and Trailer Experience, 200,000 miles minimum.
• 1 Year Tanker Experience within the last 3 years, preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement.
• Eligible for a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
• No accidents in the previous 3 years, no more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive tanker to pick up propane at refinery or terminal and deliver to AmeriGas facilities; ~45 minutes loading/unloading.
• Attach terminal hoses to pump propane into the tanker.
• Unload propane using hoses from truck; two hose sizes (20 ft, 3 in and 19 ft, 1.5 in).
• Perform twice daily truck inspections.
• May climb ladders to check gauges at bulk tanks.
