Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. in Demopolis, AL is hiring a Transport Driver to operate a tanker truck and deliver propane to AmeriGas facilities. You will make multiple daily pickups and deliveries, with extensive driving time and strict safety requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with 3 years tractor-trailer experience and 200,000 miles minimum.
• 1 year tanker experience within last 3 years preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required; TWIC eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Drive tanker truck to pick up propane from refinery or terminal and deliver to AmeriGas facilities.
• Load/unload using terminal hoses; load time ~45 minutes.
• Perform twice daily truck inspections and maintain gauges at bulk tanks.
• Operate safely and efficiently within 14-hour workdays and ~500 miles per day.
• Comply with company safety policies and federal regulations.
