Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking a safety-minded Transport Driver to operate a tanker truck, loading propane at refineries or terminals and delivering to AmeriGas facilities. Expect 4–5 daily trips, up to 14 hours, and 500 miles of driving, with heavy safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with 3+ years tractor-trailer experience.
• 1 year tanker experience within last 3 years preferred.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• TWIC credential required for access.
• No accidents in last 3 years; no more than one moving violation in 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate 11,400 gallon tanker to load propane at supply points and deliver to AmeriGas facilities.
• Make 4–5 pickups/deliveries per day, ~500 miles/day, up to 14 hours.
• Connect hoses and load/unload propane using truck fittings.
• Perform twice-daily truck inspections and safety checks.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with DOT regulations.
