Job summary

Mount Perry Propane in Connecticut is seeking a propane installation technician responsible for installing tanks with strict adherence to NFPA codes and local regulations. You will document work and support delivery operations, building trust with customers in the field.

You'll complete training, operate safely outdoors in various weather, and handle up to 75 pounds. The role includes on-call responsibilities and opportunities to grow within a company committed to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience in propane, HVAC, or related field

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks in accordance with NFPA and local codes (including NFPA 58 and 54).
• Perform DVIR and keep vehicle/equipment in good order.
• Submit service orders and billing documentation daily.
• Document and invoice parts used according to pricing and proposals.
• Support delivery operations by driving a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Participate in on-call coverage and occasional evenings or extended hours.
