Tiger Fuel Company is seeking a Propane Service Technician with CDL (Tanker and Hazmat endorsements) to install, repair, and maintain propane systems for residential and commercial customers. You will work independently with teammates and customers, performing deliveries, line work, and troubleshooting while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a Class B CDL with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements, a clean driving record, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years' experience installing and repairing propane heating systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting of propane appliances is expected.
• Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements is required.
• Clean driving record and pre-employment checks required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain propane distribution systems for customers.
• Deliver propane and operate a flatbed truck per CDL requirements.
• Provide emergency response and system testing.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond to inquiries.
• Inspect vehicle and coordinate needed equipment or maintenance.
• Keep work areas and vehicles clean and organized.

Tiger is looking for an outstanding individual to join our team and contribute to the company's legacy of service and safety as a Propane Service Technician with CDL (Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements). This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused, mechanically inclined person. Propane service technicians are hands on! You'll be doing everything from setting tanks and running lines, to fine-tuning propane appliances and equipment. You'll get to work independently, with other Tiger teammates, with contractors, and most importantly, our amazing customers. Every day is different as you get to work with a wide variety of equipment and people.

A Class B CDL, or intent to obtain a CDL, is a requirement for this exciting opportunity with Tiger.

Job Duties:

• Installs, repairs and maintains propane distribution systems for retail customers.
• Tank deliveries utilizing flatbed truck with CDL requirement
• Responsible for providing emergency response and system installation and testing.
• Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries during daily interactions.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and vehicle by keeping tools, equipment and materials in proper places
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operates vehicle in accordance to established safety procedures.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane equipment to and from specified destinations.
• Requires on-call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ideally 2 or more years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems, equipment and appliances
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining propane operated appliances
• Class B CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Clean driving record
• Drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check required and pre-employment physical.
