Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.

You will safely operate a propane service vehicle, perform repairs, and install new tanks while following safety standards and company policies. Position requires a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Fitness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along service routes.
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions (bulk or canister propane).
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas safety policies; use PPE as required.
