Job summary

Mercer Landmark seeks a Propane Service Technician / Driver for the Coldwater Energy Division to ensure safe, reliable propane service for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers. You will deliver propane, inspect systems, and assist with maintenance and customer education.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license with clean record and insurability.
• CDL Class A or B with air brake, tanker, hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain them.
• Strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Willingness to work extended hours during seasonal busy periods.
• Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to grow in energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain propane systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests to ensure safety and proper operation.
• Inspect equipment and replace regulators and components as needed.
• Safely deliver propane to customer locations with reliable service schedules.
• Educate customers on propane systems and safety practices.
• Build lasting customer relationships through professional, courteous service.
• Support daily operations and assist with facility and team needs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various environments and weather conditions.

What You’ll Do

As a Propane Service Technician / Driver, you'll be on the front lines of customer service, helping ensure our residential, commercial, and agricultural customers have the propane they need to keep their operations and households running smoothly.

No two days are exactly alike. You'll combine technical expertise, safe driving practices, and customer-focused service to support the energy needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain propane systems for residential, commercial, and agricultural customers.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests to ensure systems meet safety standards and are operating properly.
• Inspect propane equipment and replace regulators and components as needed.
• Safely deliver propane to customer locations while maintaining efficient and dependable service schedules.
• Educate customers and answer questions regarding propane systems and safety practices.

• Support daily operations and assist with facility and team needs as required.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of environments and weather conditions.
