Job Summary

Propane Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating systems, as well as related tanks and piping.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair tanks, piping, heating equipment, and appliances at customer sites.
• Communicate with dispatchers, adhere to schedules, and inform customers of any delays.
• Document all work and equipment details during customer visits.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and explain solutions to customers.
• Convey company pricing and services clearly.
• Perform repairs, calibrate systems, and test components.
• Identify opportunities for additional business and report them.
• Complete visits with proper documentation and customer signatures.
• Report issues to dispatchers and maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Participate in training and execute other tasks as assigned by the Propane Service Manager.

Requirements

• At least three years of propane service experience (waived for trainees).
• Appropriate licensing (e.g., NH Gas Fitter License, NH Master Plumber License, MA LP Installer, etc.) or trainee credentials.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to understand blueprints and manuals.
• Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and physical tests.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call shifts.
