Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician to support our Service Department in Maine. The role involves installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of propane systems, with on-call duties as needed.

A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential to represent the company well. The position offers competitive hourly pay from $23 to $34 based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a service technician.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a delivery driver.
• For Service - CETP certification and/or state specific Journeyman level oil and/or LP service technician licensing is required, or ability to obtain this certification.

Responsibilities

• Installations, troubleshooting, efficiency tests, tune-ups, propane tank sets and hook-ups per codes and safety rules.
• Eliminate call-backs by performing safe, accurate work.
• Participate in training to gain new skills.
• Promote Dead River products and services and advise customers on options.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and safe tools/equipment.
• Join night and weekend on-call schedule as required.
• Follow all regulations and company policies; report accidents and spills.
