Dead River Company is seeking a Service Technician in Gloucester, MA to install and repair residential and commercial propane and/or oil burner equipment. The role emphasizes customer service and safe, tidy work in customers' properties.

Qualified candidates have two or more years of oil/propane service experience and hold Apprentice/Journeyman/Master licensing where required, CETP certification for propane technicians, and a valid driver’s license. On-call nights and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of oil/propane service experience.
• Apprentice, Journeyman or Master designation licensing where required.
• Propane CETP certification required for propane technicians.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installs, troubleshoots and repairs oil and/or propane heating systems in accordance with codes and company policies.
• Performs efficiency tests, tune-ups, and contract service inspections.
• Maintains neat and orderly service vehicle and reports parts/labor for service calls.
