Job summary

Hocon Gas, Inc. is seeking a propane service technician in Torrington, CT to install tanks and equipment, comply with NFPA 58/54, and complete accurate paperwork for every job. You will also complete required state licensing, certifications, and ongoing training.

This role involves driving a delivery vehicle for seasonal support, performing on-site installations, and working outdoors in varied weather. A strong on-call rotation and comprehensive benefits accompany a pay rate of $32–$45 per hour.

Qualifications

• CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements or ability to obtain quickly
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• TSA clearance required
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather and participate in after-hours on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks and related equipment following NFPA 58/54 and regulations
• Complete service orders, documentation, and parts billing daily
• Operate delivery vehicle to provide seasonal delivery support
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck
• Report incidents to General Manager
• Work in varied outdoor conditions and on-call rotation
